Celebrate Bay Area design and everything our designers from San Francisco to Silicon Valley create to share with the world. From tech inventions to culture changing products, human centered design, emerging fashion to international architecture, SFDW invites the public to experience the Bay Area’s unique design talents, impact and innovations.
Since 2006, AIGA San Francisco has organized San Francisco Design Week as a way to reach out to a diverse community of over 20,000 Bay Area design professionals as well as local businesses, non-profits, entrepreneurs, students, the design-savvy public, tourists, and more.
It’s also FontShop’s 25th birthday and they are holding celebrations during the San Francisco Design Week. They are the typography sponsor of this event and will be opening their doors to you during day 2 of the Studio Tours on 18 June from 7–8pm at their San Francisco office.
Come “talk type”, check out our work space and help us blow out the birthday candles. Plus we’ll have some fun crafts and you’ll be able to stuff your face with some delicious cake and beer! Just maybe not at the same time.
