School of Design St.Gallen worked as part of a team in conjunction with Kanton St.Gallen and Creative agency Konform
The layout of a special edition of the St.Galler Zeitung (newspaper) and the design of a corresponding exhibition stand at LUGA (Swiss Spring fair) are the two recent major projects of design students studying at the School for Design in St.Gallen.
Students of both courses, ‘Typographic Design’ as well as ‘HF Communication design’ worked as part of the project team Kanton St.Gallen and created a concept and design presenting the Kanton at the national spring fair.
The students produced alternative concepts under the guidance of tutors Peter Renn and Roland Stieger. Besides the design of the special 16pp edition (layout, editorial design and info graphics) the students applied the contents and design also to the vast 750m square exhibition stand.
The result is truly impressive.
